The Robert Abraham Cup - Outstanding Service to the Club
This award was introduced in 2022 after the sad passing of former chairman Robert Abraham, who was an outstanding and popular figurehead for the club. He was instrumental in promoting WCC, increasing membership, organising and leading club rides and away days and longer cycle tours. Abe was a constant, reliable support to all. He was always there to help if he could, giving his time readily to offer support to those needing bike maintenance or participating in challenges such as Lands end to John O'Groats.
The trophy is given to the person WCC feels has offered outstanding service to the club during the year, whether it be organising cycle or social events updating the website or cycle calendar, promoting the club through social media or liaising with outside agencies to boost our presence.

The Horwich Cup - Great Commitment to Cycling
This cup is given to the club member who we feel has completed cycle challenges above the norm for the majority of WCC cyclists. We consider the distance they have covered over the year, and in particular challenge(s). They will be regular participants in club rides will also cycle individually, covering long distances on a regular basis over the year. Their performances over the year will stand out.
